Steven Skrtic's Mythology Project - Odysseus

Last Updated 19 February 2004

Side: Greek

Odysseus is the king of Ithaca. He is one of the greater heroes of the Trojan War. He created the idea of the Trojan Horse. He was cursed by Philocetes and was delayed from returning to his home for 10 years. On the journey home he met Polymphesus, the cyclops, CIrce, Apollo's cattle and the West Wind on the journey home. He eventually returned home safely and, with his servants and son, killed all his wife’s lovers.
